Depend on Team Members so that they Can Work to a Common Goal. Horses are herd animals and consequently teach participants that everyone depends on each other to survive and achieve common goals. Participants learn to prioritize and make decisions as a team.
Get “On-Board” with New Team Members. Horses live in the present and provide immediate challenges and solutions in real time. Participants learn work with new team members to creatively solve problems.
Set Boundaries. Horses are sometimes very helpful and sometimes aloof. Participants learn to create boundaries while still connecting to team members.
Work with Different Leadership Styles. Horses need a leader and respond well to quiet leadership. Participants learn that they and their co-workers may have different leadership styles.
