Michael McCarthy is a corporate trainer whose early background on Wall Street as a currency trader and stock market researcher required an unwavering focus on business performance.
Michael went on to found MMR McCarthy Market Research, a money management firm in New York and Boston that was ranked the #1 stock market timing firm in the U.S. for 10 years (1994 to 2004). A book was written about Michael’s investment strategies entitled Exceptional Trading: The Mind Game by Ruth Barrons Roosevelt.
In 2004 Michael retired to pursue a second career in maximizing human potential and is currently a business and career strategist. He received his training in equine assisted learning from the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A) and from Tim Manson from Innovative Horizons.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science from New York University in finance and management and is currently a master's degree candidate in positive psychology at Harvard University.
