Marie-Claude Stockl

Marie-Claude Stockl is the Horse Institute’s executive director.  Following a career as a senior public affairs executive reporting to Presidents and CEO’s at Nestle Foods, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Revlon, Marie Claude realized her dream: she bought a horse farm in 1994 and subsequently founded The Horse Institute.

She has given thousands of interviews to local and national print and broadcast media and is a sought-after speaker in the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia. Her extensive experience and skills as a corporate trainer are a big asset when she facilitates experiential training with horses.

A native of France, Marie-Claude received her Masters Degree in Communications summa cum laude from the University of Paris.  She is a certified educator through the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A) as well as the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) and the OK Corral Series by Greg Kersten, co-founder of equine assisted learning.  She is a board member of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association and is recognized in Who’s Who Worldwide.
