






Louisa Yap taps into her experience as a successful entrepreneur and an insightful horsewoman when she works with executives and teams. Her listening skills and kindness enhance the belief of The Horse Institute that people learn best in a trust-centered environment.
Louisa was Director of Haute Couture for both Arnold Scaasi and Hanae Mori in New York and Paris. After she moved back to New York, she founded, co-owned and now sits on the board of Wide Plank International Inc., an environmentally-sound source of wood floors for homes, commercial spaces, luxury retails stores and hotels including The Four Seasons and W.
A recent graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York, Louisa is a certified Holistic Health Counselor and has been accepted into their Continuance/Immersion Program. She is also certified by the Equine Experiential Education Association (E3A).
Louisa holds a B.S. degree in Textiles and Marketing from F.I.T. and the College for The Distributive Trades in London. She was recognized by F.I.T. with the prestigious Outstanding Alumni Award.
